Our transformational program brings Christmas cheer for resident at The Women’s Safe House. The Women’s Safe house is a safe haven for victims of domestic abuse. Christmas is a tough time for those who have found temporary shelter at the Safe House. In the hopes of bringing a little joy into their lives the Archway (MO) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated sponsors a Christmas party for residents. The afternoon of fun features festive crafts and a family photo. Each mom and child receive age appropriate gifts and the celebration concludes with a delicious holiday meal. For the 2014 party each child left with a beautiful bear provided by new partner, Build-A-Bear Workshop.
In addition through another new partnership, Santa’s Helpers Inc. St. Louis, Santa delivered four age appropriate toys and a coat to each child at the Safe House.
